The Harbour is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, and case management to homeless, locked-out, and runaway youth in the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Each year, 26,000 youth in Illinois will have no place to call home. While we often think of homelessness as an urban problem, half of these youth are located outside of the city.
Our programs protect youth from homelessness, while helping them achieve their educational and employment goals. By working to build self-reliance and independence, we keep youth off the street and help them develop into responsible members of the community.
